Jairo Castillo goes to blows with teammate

Argentinian side Godoy Cruz’s 32 year old Colombian striker had a fight after training with Federico Higuain, Gonzalo’s brother and Castillo’s teammate and attacking partner at Godoy Cruz. The fight happened in front of the rest of the team after training in the city of Mendoza.
This was confirmed by the Argentine newspaper ‘Ole’, which highlights the event in its online edition and adds that “coach Omar Andrés Asad suspended the practice but said both players will start next Sunday”.

Jairo Castillo is one of the most successful players in the team coached by ‘El Turco’ Asad and is second in the standings in the Argentine Clausura tournament, three points behind leaders Independiente.

Godoy Cruz’s next game is on April the 12th, when they will play against Velez Sarsfield on one of the most attractive fixtures of the day.
